Ok, so there isn't much here now, but ultimately I hope to host any number of Duzan family related things here. For now, what I do have is:
As far as I have been able to determine, the Duzan family in America traces its roots back to a Peter Duzan, Sr., who lived in Maryland in 1776. There had been indications that Peter may have been an Acadian exile, but it turns out that the Acadian record was clearly referring to someone else. We've had some reports of Duzans in France in the early 1700s, and there are still Duzans living there today. I really need to get with them sometime and share information, but for now (if you can read French) you can visit a site of theirs at www.duzan.com. I've also recently learned that there are quite a few Duzans living in Novi Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
